Hollywood to produce movie about the Indian who found his home after 25 years using Google 

Khandwa: The real life story of Saaru Brolli aka Sheru from Khandwa region in Madhya Pradesh will now be made into a Hollywood movie. The movie called 'Lion' will be based on the autobiography written by him. Some of the movie scenes will be shot in Khandwa in February. In the meanwhile, the shooting is going on in Kolkata.

 

The Winston Company purchased the rights to make a movie in $12 million in the Cannes Film Festival. This was the second highest bid of Cannes after the movie 'Story of Your Life' worth $20 million.

Sonakshi Sinha's elder brother Kush got hitched to London-based Taruna Agarwal in a glitzy ceremony in Mumbai over the weekend.

Here's a look at the famous faces that turned up to bless the new couple.

 

A visibly excited Sonakshi Sinha poses for pictures with fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

Malhotra later took to his Twitter to share this picture, 'Beautiful @sonakshisinha spoke lovingly for her brother and  also sang wonderfully at the wedding sangeet :-),' he wrote.

The Sinhas had met with Modi earlier this month.

 

Manish Malhotra also shared a picture of him with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan at the Sinha-Agarwal sangeet ceremony.

 

Here is host Shatrughan Sinha, catching up with his former screen rival and costar of films like Dostana and Kala Patthar, Amitabh Bachchan.

 

Hema Malini, Tina Ambani, Jaya Bachchan, Sonakshi and Poonam Dhillon looked rather lovely in their designer outfits.

 

And here is a group selfie clicked by singer Mika Singh.

'Had so much fun at taj lands end  with kush and  @sonakshisinha Sona sang and played drum . Congrats bro kush,' he wrote with the picture on Twitter.

 

Poonam and Sonakshi Sinha are seen here with actress Rashmi Nigam, who shared the picture and gushed about the hosts.

'With such beautiful n gracious people, @sonakshisinha n Poonam aunty, #Hosting Kussh's #wedding #Sangeet was a dream!' she wrote.

 

Lakshmi Manchu attended the ceremony with her father, the veteran actor Mohan Babu.

Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone was recently spotted outside the old Kolkata Terminal on January 16. She was in the city as the shoot of her upcoming movie ‘Tamasha’ was underway in the suburbs.
Dressed in a floral tee and denims along with a yellow overcoat, Deepika Padukone looked pretty. She was accompanied by director Imtiaz Ali. She started shooting for the movie in France last year and was later seen in Shimla for another schedule of Tamasha.
Exes Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, whose crackling onscreen chemistry won many hearts in movies like ‘Bachna Ae Haseenon’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani’, will yet again be seen together in ‘Tamasha’.

After the Kolkata schedule, Deepika and Ranbir will be shooting for the film’s last schedule in Dehli next month.
‘Tamasha’ revolves around a nomad played by Ranbir Kapoor and in Corsica, he bumps into a comic book lover potrayed by Deepika Padukone. The movie is slated to release around Christmas of 2016.
